Anyway....!

Jumaat lepas i.e. semalam, saya dan my significant other went to catch this movie. Seperti biasa, En. SO yang mengajak saya pegi tengok, jadi before actually going, I googled the movie reviews from the internet. Sebenarnya selalunya saya tak rajin pun nak men'google', tapi entah kenapa semalam terextra rajin pulak.

Sudahnya terjumpa beberapa reviews yang seperti mengatakan bahawa movie ini adalah best. Ok. Saya pun pegila wayang dengan harapan tinggi to be entertained for the night.

Alas.

I felt a tad bit disappointed. Tom Cruise was charming at his best, Cameron looked pretty good and hot for a woman in her late thirties. The reviews [which I read] said the chemistry was marvelous, but I'm not digging it... [whyyyy??? I didn't know myself. I strongly believes that Sandra Bullock + Ryan Reynolds got better chemistry than these two in The Proposal albeit a 12 years age difference!]

Ada juga beberapa scenes yang membuatkan saya gelak, tapi yalah, tak banyak. Sikit jer kalau nak dibandingkan dengan The A-Team yang super duper funny and best! Jalan ceritanya menarik, tapi the editing was a bit 'errrrrr' in my humble opinion. The scenery also, nothing spectacular. Kenapa the director tak gunakan pemandangan Austria dan Sevilla dengan sepenuhnya? Pelik bin ajaib betul. I had personally been to Sevilla before and it is such a beautiful city! Mengapa dalam filem ni die tetiba masukkan pasal encierro yang memang tak berapa popular pun di Sevilla?

Adoila... maybe just nak filemkan the chasing scene jer kot. Entahla.. tak tau.

Saya berikan 4/10 untuk filem ni. Sikit kan, but in my radar, that's what it deserves. It had its own moments, tapi tak cukup untuk menutup flaw yang ada dalam filem ni. Sesapa yang nak tengok and belum pegi tengok and 'terbaca' post ni, jangan percaya 100% cakap saya. Because everyone has their own preference kan?

The film is not a cup of my tea. It doesn't have to be the same with anyone else. ^^



Cik Atun: En Tom Cruise ni semakin tua semakin hensem plak. Ahaha.
