Disturbing verdict for statutory rape
I am thoroughly disgusted as I listened to the radio news about a rapist who got off so easily from the deed he had done.
Hukuman berkelakuan baik kerana tertuduh tidak mempunyai rekod jenayah dan mempunyai masa depan yang baik?

DISGUSTING. Thoroughly disgusting.
I remember a similar case that I read about a tenpin bowling athlete, Noor Afizal Azizan. He got off the hook too because the judges deemed that the nation will suffer loses and he also has a good future.To quote from The Star (14th August 2012),
WTH? I mean, WHAT ON EARTH? WHAT PUBLIC INTEREST?
For your information, statutory rape, or sexual assault against a girl aged below 16 — with or without her consent — is punishable with up to 20 years’ jail and whipping.
The judges, of all people should know this tiny little fact and yet this two people walks out as free as a bird from the court. Without whipped arse too (excuse my choices of words).
Is this how we are going to treat a rapist? Is this how we are sending teens/boys a message that ‘sleeping’ with underage girls is VERY BAD even if it’s consensual?
If you are going to be this lenient, I do hope you had a very good reason, judges.
Otherwise, you will be the one who had to answer our Creator when the time comes.
Cik Atun: I agree with Adibah Noor (Via Twitter). If he brings back an Olympic medal also, his crime must be punished. Tak kira la apa jadi pun. Bluerrrkkk!
